Port Royal – Less than 30 days remain until the 2013 season opener at Port Royal Speedway, slated for Saturday, March 16 at 6 pm.
Featured will be the 410 and 358 sprint cars before the late models make their season debut a week later on March 23.
A practice session is slated to informally open the season on Saturday afternoon, March 9 from 1 – 4 pm. The session is open to any type of race cars that appear on the 2013 slate of events.
Last year, Greg Hodnett won the 410 sprint opener at the track on March 17 while Pat Cannon took the 358 sprint portion of the program.
