Port Royal Speedway Returns July 27 With Juniata County Fire & Rescue EMS Night

Port Royal – There will be no racing at Port Royal Speedway on July 20 as the track takes a summer break before returning on July 27 at 7:30 pm with Juniata County Fire And Rescue EMS Night.

The July 27 program will feature racing action with the Aumiller’s Insurance 410 sprints, Gray’s Auto & Towing super late models and River Valley Builders PASS 305 sprints.

The night will honor all fire, rescue and EMS companies and personnel from across Juniata County.

Prior to the race, numerous fire and rescue EMS apparatus from all corners of the county will be on display.

Firetruck rides for youth will be given on speedway grounds prior to the races from 5:30 to 6:30 pm.

A parade of all fire trucks, ambulances and rescue trucks on hand for the night will take place during intermission.

The oval will present the 2013 Living Legends Dream Race honoring driver Todd Shaffer and owner Patty Beam on August 3.

Over $50,000 in prize money will be paid out at the event along with some $10,000 worth of contingency cash and prizes.
