Port Royal Speedway Prepping For Mighty October Events!

World of Outlaws & Keystone RaceSaver Blue Collar Classic In Offing

Port Royal – After a few weeks off on the heels of the 47th annual Tuscarora 50 for sprint cars, Port Royal Speedway will now take a much-needed break in order to prepare for its October events.

The track returns to action over the Columbus Day holiday weekend, Friday, October 10 and Saturday, October 11, for the two-day, Blue Collar Classic weekend featuring a Keystone RaceSaver Sprints interregional 305 sprint challenge and the 410 sprints.

The interregional RaceSaver 305 sprints, hosted by the PASS 305 circuit, are on the agenda both days with limited late model action at the track as well on Friday, beginning at 7 pm.

The 410 sprints will race on Saturday night in a tune-up event for the upcoming World of Outlaws invasion with the RaceSaver 305s in the spotlight for their Blue Collar Classic main.

The xtreme stocks also race on October 11, beginning at 5 pm.

And then the much-ballyhooed return of the STP World of Outlaws Sprints will take place at the historic oval on Saturday, October 25 at 5 pm when the traveling band returns to the Juniata County oval for the first time in a decade.

This will be the last appearance for competition in Pennsylvania by King Of The Outlaws Steve Kinser as a full-time outlaws racer.
