    Work continues on off-season improvements at the track as February begins with new guardrail installation in turn four and the continuation of installation and upgrade of fencing around the track.

Port Royal – The annual Port Royal Speedway awards and banquet is set for under a month, on January 28 at the Port Royal Community Building. The facility is located along 4th St., just off of the speedway’s backstretch. Doors for the ceremony will open at 5:30 pm.

More clay was added to the speedway during the week between Christmas and the New Year while work continued elsewhere, including installation of fencing along the pit entry access road off of fourth street.

Speedway work crews were busy spreading new clay at Port Royal Speedway over the recent Thanksgiving holiday weekend.  Many thanks to Kinsley Trucking of York for their assistance in the project!  Outside turn four guardrail has also been removed and is due for replacement.
