Port Royal – The 410 sprints were on the track, formed up and ready for the feature green flag when a second bout of rain on the night struck Port Royal Speedway on Saturday evening, forcing postponement of the main events.
Postponed along with the 410 sprint feature were mains for the super late models and the 305 sprint cars.

Port Royal – Port Royal Speedway will present FREE Student Night, Youth Softball & Baseball Team Uniform Night this Saturday, May 3 at 7 pm.
Racing action on the night will include the Aumiller’s Insurance 410 sprints, the Jake’s Golf Carts super late models and the River Valley Builders 305 sprint cars.
Students ages 12 – 18 will be afforded FREE general admission for the night of racing action while special activities take place for the youth softball and baseball team players who attend in uniform. Read more »

Port Royal – Greg Hodnett of Thomasville pocketed a total of $13,400 for his victory in the All Star Circuit of Champions Sprints Bob Weikert Memorial at Port Royal Speedway on Saturday night in a race that saw the front four cars contend for the lead at one point during the mid stages.
It was the fourth victory of Hodnett’s career in the prestigious event and his first of the season anywhere as well as for his new team owned by Mike Heffner.
Just before the feature began, the Weikert family announced in conjunction with oval officials that the 2015 installment of the event will be expanded to a 40-lap feature that will pay a minimum of $15,000 to the winner. Read more »

Over $1,000 raised for American Cancer Society on Race To Cure Cancer Night
Port Royal – Rick Lafferty, 410 sprints; Nick Dickson, super late models; and Andrew Yoder, Middleburg; scored the main events on Race To Cure Cancer Night at Port Royal Speedway on Saturday.
During intermission, the speedway presented the American Cancer Society with a check for $682 comprised of contributions from the night’s ticket sales while another $300 was raised from the auction of an autographed five-gallon fuel jug as donated by B and R Farm Equipment. Read more »
