Port Royal – Port Royal Speedway recently completed its fairweek races including the Tuscarora 50 but the oval is far from finished with the 2013 racing season.
After a few weeks off, Port Royal returns to action October 11 and 12 over the Columbus Day holiday weekend with a two day, Friday and Saturday card headlined by the 305 sprints. Read more »
Local Devin Hart Wins First Time Out In Pro Stocks
Port Royal – Don Kreitz Jr. of Sinking Spring entered competition at Port Royal Speedway on Saturday night for the first time in nearly four years and walked off with the 46th annual Tuscarora 50 sprint car triumph, worth $12,000 plus another $1,200 in lap money to take a total of $13,200 back to Berks County along with a trophy bigger than he for this third overall victory in the prestigious and classic event.
Kreitz made the decision to enter the event after helping teammate Ryan Smith race at the oval on Friday night and seeing the superior track surface on Friday. Read more »
Dylan Yoder Wins Late Models As Naugle Takes Title
Port Royal – Greg Hodnett of Thomasville wired the field for the $5,000 victory in the Night Before The Tuscarora 50 All Star Circuit of Champions sprint car feature at Port Royal Speedway on Friday night.
Hodnett led all 30 laps for his fourth career win in the event having also taken Night Before checkers in 1998, 2002 and in 2003. Read more »

The Night Before The 50 event is the forerunner to the annual Tuscarora 50 itself, this year celebrating 46 years with its Saturday running.

Port Royal – The UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions Sprints will make their final appearances of the season at Port Royal Speedway this Friday and Saturday as part of the 46th annual Tuscarora 50 races for 410 sprints at the Juniata County Fair.
Racing action both nights gets underway at 7 pm.

Kyle Lick gets ARDC Midgets
Port Royal – Lance Dewease of Fayetteville won a classic 62nd annual Labor Day Classic for 410 sprint cars at Port Royal Speedway on Monday afternoon, showing “wily” skill in the run to the victory, according to car owner Mike Heffner.
In the ARDC Midget feature, Kyle Lick took advantage of a late race restart in the 20-lapper to pull out a win after running behind the entire distance to that point. Read more »

Port Royal – York Haven’s Jason Covert made his first career Port Royal Speedway late model win a big one on Saturday night when he won the annual Butch Renninger Memorial in a Three State Flyers Series event for the division at the track.
Covert took home $3,696 for the victory after leading the final 10 circuits of the event. Read more »
