Port Royal Speedway extends its thoughts and sympathy to the Walter Dyer family on the passing of Port Royal Speedway Living Legend Marsha Dyer on April 30.

dyer Marsha was a strong christian woman who loved Port Royal Speedway. Her passing breaks a marital union of 64 years.

Marsha is shown here in Port Royal Labor Day victory lane in 1996, pointing to the tire choice that she made for the iconic No. 461 that carried Lance Dewease to the win on that day.

Hodnett Wins 44th In Port Royal Sprints Crash Marred Main, Wampler Wins Port Royal First In Late Models, Gramley Sweeps 305s

PORT ROYAL, Pa. – Greg Hodnett scored the 410 sprint car feature at Port Royal Speedway on Saturday night to record his second oval win of the season in a race that was marred by a horrific opening lap frontstretch melee.

In the super late model main York Haven’s Billy Wampler won for the first time ever at the track, outrunning point leader Andy Haus for the victory.

Nate Gramley of Lewistown scored a clean sweep of both 305 sprint features on the night after running off with the April 2 make up event as well as the regularly scheduled main. Read more »

April 9 has been canceled due to unseasonable weather

Port Royal, Pa – The forecast for unseasonable weather and even a few inches of snow on Friday night has persuaded Port Royal Speedway officials to cancel the April 9 racing program. The track will return to action on April 16 with Race To Cure Cancer Night featuring the 410 sprints, super late models and the IMCA/PASS 305 sprints at 6 pm.
