Port Royal – A schedule change has been made to the Port Royal Speedway August 23 Open Wheel Madness event as the URC sprints have been removed from the date and Twin 25s for the 410 sprints have been added.

Port Royal – Port Royal Speedway will present Moon Shine Camo® Motorcycle Night this Saturday, August 9 at 7 pm along with Food Pantry Night and the final Camera & Autograph Night of the season.

Nearly $4,000 contingency cash given to 17 different drivers in successful event
Port Royal – Brent Marks of Myerstown won the biggest sprint car race of his career on Saturday night at Port Royal Speedway by claiming the 8th running of the Living Legends Dream Race.
An emotional Marks pocketed a total of $10,620 including lap money for his non-stop Dream A Main victory plus another $700 for a run in his semi main for a grand total night’s earnings of $11,320. Read more »

What, Where, When: The Port Royal Speedway Living Legends Dream Race honoring Lance Dewease and Maynard Boop is this Saturday, August 2 at 7 pm. Gates will open at 4 pm. The adult general admission price is $27 with students ages 12 – 18 admitted for JUST $5.
What’s It About: The Living Legends Dream Race was begun at Port Royal Speedway in 2007 as a way to post a lucrative payoff for Pennsylvania’s 410 sprint car stars that didn’t force them to compete against an outside sanctioning body for the money. Tyler Bear becomes first repeat winner in Port 305 action
Port Royal – Brent Marks beat a highly competitive field of 410 sprints to record his first ever Port Royal Speedway victory on Saturday night, taking $3,000 for the win while becoming the 11th different winner in 12 events held at the track so far this season.
In the super late model main Tim Smith Jr. continued the trend of no repeat winners in the division by becoming the 10th different pilot to visit victory lane in as many races this season while also setting a new 20-lap track record in the affair. Read more »

Special Silent Auction Raises Funds On Race Night For Lucky Drivers
Port Royal – Thousands and thousands of dollars in contingency cash and prizes will be up for grabs by sprint car drivers at the upcoming August 2 Living Legends Dream Race at Port Royal Speedway on top of the posted event purse that eclipses $50,000.

Rine Invades For Late Model Chship, Tim Krape Wins First In Econo Lates
Port Royal – Chad Layton finally put a bright spot into his season of struggles aboard the Middleswarth No. 7 sprint car when he found his way to victory lane at Port Royal Speedway on Saturday night to claim his first win of the year anywhere.
In the 25-lap late model championship event Jeff Rine invaded and picked up the $2,000 win after trailing Port Royal point leader Mike Lupfer for the first half of the race.
And in the 355 econo late model main Tim Krape picked up his first-ever win in the new division at the track. Read more »
