Rine Invades For Late Model Chship, Tim Krape Wins First In Econo Lates
Port Royal – Chad Layton finally put a bright spot into his season of struggles aboard the Middleswarth No. 7 sprint car when he found his way to victory lane at Port Royal Speedway on Saturday night to claim his first win of the year anywhere.
In the 25-lap late model championship event Jeff Rine invaded and picked up the $2,000 win after trailing Port Royal point leader Mike Lupfer for the first half of the race.

Port Royal – Port Royal Speedway will present the 2014 Living Legends Dream Race on Saturday, August 2 at 7:30 pm, honoring veteran sprint car driver and Port Royal ace Lance Dewease and car owner Maynard Boop with tens-of-thousands of dollars in purse money and contingency cash and prizes up for grabs.

Port Royal – This Saturday night, July 12 will be Kids Night at Port Royal Speedway when the track will present a 25-lap championship event for the Jake’s Carts/Enviroman Products super late models along with a full program of Aumiller’s Insurance 410 sprints and Gray’s Auto and Towing 355 econo late models.
The super late model main will pay $2,000 to win and $200 to start with group time trials in warm ups setting the starting grids. Read more »
Lucas Wolfe Wins Port Royal First In PA Speedweek Action, Matt Parks and Bill Powell take stock car mains
Port Royal – Lucas Wolfe of Mechanicsburg drove from sixth starting spot to win Saturday night’s PA Speedweek sprint car feature event at Port Royal Speedway worth $5,000, recording his elusive first every victory at the track as well as in the speedweek series itself anywhere by taking the checkers.
It was also Wolfe’s first win for his car owner’s John and Pee Wee Zemaitis since joining the team this season.
Wolfe started out the night by setting a new one-lap track record in qualifying over the 34-car field in attendance, setting the mark at 15.168 seconds, an average speed of 127.381 mph. Read more »
Port Royal – With nearly 30 sprint cars signed in for PA Speedweek action on Thursday night at Port Royal Speedway, a relentless rain forced cancellation of the program at approximately 8:15 pm.
A torrent of rains and high winds pelted the speedway around 3 pm with sporadic rainfall lasting until 6 pm however oval officials opened the gates and pressed on, preparing the track in an effort to get the show underway and completed. Read more »

Port Royal – Tim Fuller of Watertown, Ny., scored a rich payday at Port Royal Speedway on Saturday night, besting a stellar 35-car NDRL Late Model field with a powerful move by Mason Zeigler for the lead and victory, worth $3,000.
In the 25-lap 410 sprint car feature, Dylan Cisney poured some local flavor into victory lane by holding off Doug Esh for the win as a hometown favorite.

Port Royal – The first ever appearance in the region by the National Dirt Racing League super late models is on tap this Saturday, June 21 at Port Royal Speedway with action getting underway at 7 pm.
The NDRL Northeast Region stars will gather for a match up with the weekly Jake’s Carts/Enviroman Products super late model regulars of Port Royal for a 30-lap, $3,000 to win main event.
