PORT ROYAL, Pa. – Doug Esh went two for two on Saturday night at Port Royal Speedway, claiming his second sprint car win in as many weeks at the track, besting Greg Hodnett both times for the victory.

Econo lates and xtremes make season debut along with 410 sprints and super lates

PORT ROYAL, Pa. – Port Royal Speedway will host $1 Hot Dog Night this Saturday, April 8 at 6 pm when the Weikert’s Livestock 410 sprints, River Valley Builders super late models, Gray’s Auto and Towing econo late models and the Juniata Junction xtreme stocks take to the track.

Esh, Rine And Reeser Win At Port Royal As Track Records Fall

PORT ROYAL, Pa. – Doug Esh outran Greg Hodnett to win the 25-lap sprint car feature at Port Royal Speedway on Saturday night, holding Hodnett off as the pair raced in and out of traffic at lightning fast speeds.

In the 22-lap super late model main it was Danville’s Jeff Rine taking the 14th victory of his career at the track, overtaking Devin Friese for the win.

In addition to the posted prize money, the Super Late Model winner each night will also receive a guaranteed starting spot in the tracks respective Ernie D’s Appalachian Mountain Speedweek Show during the 9th annual event this June. Port Royal Plans Sprint & Late Model Opener March 18, UFO Lates Invade March 25

PORT ROYAL, Pa. – Port Royal Speedway now plans its season opener for Saturday, March 18 at 5 pm featuring the Weikert’s Livestock 410 sprints and the River Valley Builders super late models.

The sprints will be racing for $3,500 to win and the late models will be racing for $2,000 to win.

Port Royal Cancels March 11, Spins Off Successful Practice Session Thursday

PORT ROYAL, Pa. – Some 30 race cars gathered at Port Royal Speedway on Thursday night, March 9 to take part in a three hour practice session from 6 – 9 pm.

Divisions represented included 410 sprints, 305 sprints, super late models, econo late models, xtreme stocks and four cylinder pure stocks.

Despite a successful practice event on Thursday night, Port Royal officials have been forced to announce the cancellation of the scheduled season opener coming up in two days, on Saturday, March 11. Read more »

Port Royal And Speed Shift TV To Broadcast Eight Events In 2017

PORT ROYAL, Pa. – Port Royal Speedway has partnered with Speed Shift TV to broadcast eight premier events via pay per view during the upcoming 2017 racing season, beginning in April.

Speed Shift TV broadcasts more than 120 nights of racing a year to a global online audience.

Deadline For Port Royal Seat Renewal Is Feb. 1, Season Passes On Sale

Any current seat holders who have not renewed their seats from the 2016 season by February 1, 2017, will find them put up for sale beginning late this week.
