Our overnight camping area is in the field on the west side of the Agricultural barn/south side of the racing pits. The camping area is accessed from 8th Street.
Rows 1, 4, 5, 6 & 7 have no hook-ups. Rates are set every year by JCAS (Juniata County Agricultural Society). A set rate will also be determined by the JCAS for the 8-day Juniata County Fair.
Rows 2 & 3 have electrical service only. No water or sewer services are available. These rows are primarily reserved for the season, including 2025 Fair Week. All season reserved sites are to be paid in full by January 31, 2025.
A. No sharing of electrical service. If you get caught sharing electric service, you will be suspended for the balance of the season and the following calendar year. There will be no refunds.
B. If your camper is parked at this location, you will be charged whether you are using the electric service or not.
C. Any electric sites not reserved for the race season will be offered on the Port Royal Speedway website for rental on a by-race basis.
JCAS is the owner of the property. Campers may not sublet, sell, rent, or lease their camping spot.
JCAS reserves the right to make changes to the camping area.
Only 1 vehicle in addition to the camper is permitted in each camping spot.
No overnight camping is permitted on any other portions of JCAS property without permission, and must also comply with these rules and any other rules applied at that time for an additional location.
No open campfires or charcoal grills are permitted, per Port Royal Borough code. Propane fires and propane grills are permitted in a controlled and maintained state with adult supervision.
No loud music or boisterous behavior will be permitted at any time on JCAS property. Quiet time is 11:00 pm each night until noon the next day.
All motorized golf carts and handicapped mobility scooters may be used in the camping areas, and must be maintained to a safe operating speed not to exceed 10 mph. Operators must be 16 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license except handicapped operators. The use of motorized golf carts is for transportation purposes only, not for entertainment purposes.
A. Golf carts will not access the road that runs directly behind the main grandstands or in front of the speedway/fair office. No access will be allowed, at any time, in the pit area.
B. During the Juniata County Fair, no motorized golf carts, 4-wheelers, or scooters will be allowed on the fairgrounds, except those being used by JCAS fair board members. Handicapped mobility scooters are permitted.
C. All golf carts must register with the speedway office, and must carry a speedway-issued permit on the front window. To obtain a permit, guests can submit a completed application, proof of insurance, and a yearly fee to the speedway office during normal business hours.
All trash must be placed in the dumpster located at the back of the camping area. Positively no waste dumps on JCAS property. VIOLATORS WILL BE PROSECUTED!
Possession and consumption of alcoholic beverages are subject to Pennsylvania law. Under no circumstances are any alcoholic beverages to be left behind.
JCAS management reserves the right to limit space taken by campers. No alterations to the existing ground are permitted.
JCAS reserves the right to refuse entrance to any camper and/or renewal for any reason.
JCAS assumes no responsibility for damage, theft, or loss of any kind, to any and all property of campers. Any damage to JCAS property will be assessed to the responsible party or parties. JCAS hopes that all camping guests have a safe and enjoyable experience.
Dogs are welcome but must always be kept on a leash and cleaned up after. Dogs are NOT permitted in any area requiring a general admission ticket, including the grandstand and infield areas.
No refunds will be issued for camping.
Due to Port Royal Borough code, you may not enter the field any earlier than noon the day before a race and must be out by noon the day after. The field will be locked at noon the day after the race and any remaining campers will be towed at the owner’s expense.
All campers must be pulled straight in or backed in, no boxing of campers.
Failure to follow any of the above rules will result in camping privileges being suspended for 1 year and no payments will be refunded. NO EXCEPTIONS!!
