Port Royal, PA Sports Network and Buttonwood Camp Have Radio Show This Week


Port Royal – Port Royal Speedway and the PA Sports Network will broadcast live from Buttonwood Campground located along the Juniata River coming up this Saturday, June 18 from 8 AM until Noon.

Several drivers are slated to either appear in person or take part in the radio show via phone with racecars slated to be on display as well.

Cars tentatively slated to be on display for at least part if not all of the show hours include Keith Kauffman’s No. 8H sprint, which he drove to his 129th career victory at the track on Saturday, June 11.

The late models of Gary Beward and Patrick Bryner are scheduled to be on display as well along with the pro stock of driver Brian Towsey. 

Tentatively planning to appear at the show and take part in the broadcast along with Kauffman is Towsey, Bryner, Beward and Daryl Stimeling. 

Other drivers intending to take part in the broadcast by phone include sprint drivers Lance Dewease, Chad Layton, Ryan Taylor, Justin Henderson and Henderson’s mechanic Jim Shriner. 

Other drivers are expected to be added to the lineup in the coming days. 

Buttonwood Campground is a premier camper and tent friendly campground situated along the scenic Juniata River just a stone’s throw away from Port Royal Speedway in Juniata County.
