2011 Wraps With Next Season On Port Royal Horizon, – Towsey joins Hestor as tech

Port Royal – Port Royal Speedway and PRS Promotions is busy planning for the 2012 racing season while also putting a wrap on 2011. 

The speedway awards banquet is set for Saturday night, January 28, 2012, at the Port Royal Community Building.  Tickets will go on sale in November at a price of $30.00 each. 

The 2012 schedule is taking shape and includes weekly action highlighted by 410 sprint car and late model racing.  Action will also include pro stocks and monthly appearances by the enduro dash class.    

Other divisions and special shows are currently under review and competing for inclusion on the 2012 slate of events that will significantly mirror that of the just completed season. 

“We’ve had a pleasant response from race teams and organizations that want to be part of Port Royal in 2012,” says Promoter and Race Director Steve O’Neal, of PRS Promotions.  . 

“We are looking forward to a very exciting and promising new season.” 

Reigning pro stock champion Brian Towsey recently joined Todd Hestor as part of a team charged with the oversight of division rules, specifications and safety.

Reviews of division rules and specs are currently underway and are intended to be released prior to November 1.   

Season general admission passes, season pit passes, season seats and season parking passes for 2012 will go on sale in November, just in time for holiday gift giving.
