Double Late Model Features On Race To Cure Cancer Night At Port Royal, 305 sprints make Port season debut along with 410 sprints

 Port Royal – Port Royal Fairgrounds Speedway will present the first show of the Port season for 305 sprints on Saturday, April 14 at 6 pm along with a full program of Aumillers Insurance 410 sprints and AB Auto Glass late models.  Plus, the make up late model main held over from March 31 will also be spun off. 

It will be Race To Cure Cancer Night at the oval with .50-cents from every adult and student general admission ticket sold going to the American Cancer Society.

Representatives from the American Cancer Society and the Mifflin/Juniata County Relay For Life teams will be on hand for the evening beginning when gates open at 4 pm. 

ACS literature will be available and various ACS fundraisers will also be on display and carried out throughout the evening. 

Last season at Port Royal, four different drivers claimed five events for the 305 sprints at the oval with victories going to Logan Wagner (2) along with Mike Wagner II., Tyler Bear and Brian Walker. 

A total of seven 305 sprint events dot the 2012 slate of events.

So far this season at Port Royal, Greg Hodnett has claimed two of three contested 410 sprint mains with Lance Dewease scoring once.  Scott Haus took the late model opener.
