Port Royal – The list of silent auction items up for bid this Saturday at the Port Royal Speedway Living Legends Dream Race has grown and all proceeds will go to specially selected drivers as chosen by the fans.

From 4 until approximately 8 pm this Saturday night a silent auction will be held for the following items behind the grandstand:

Reggie Jackson signed baseball

Mickey Mantle and Willie Mays signed photographs

Muhammad Ali signed photograph

Lance Alworth signed helmet

Lance Alworth signed football

two sets of one-night passes to Port Royal Speedway.

two Lance Dewease apparel packs

one framed 8 x 10 of each of the top ten drivers in Port Royal sprint points

At the close of the auction no later than 8 pm, winners or the items will be notified and a final total of the money raised will determine just how many different drivers will be the recipients of the bonus money.

It is expected that between four and eight equal allotments of the money raised will be up for grabs and during intermission random fans will be chosen to determine who gets one of the lucky cash prizes.

All drivers in attendance for the night will be eligible.  And each driver will only be able to win one of the cash prizes.

Aside from all the silent auction contingency money to be raised and given to drivers, thousands and thousands of dollars in contingency cash and prizes will be up for grabs by sprint car drivers as part of the race itself.

As has become customary over the last few years, each of the 16-lap semi mains will pay $20 to lead a lap as will the 35-lap Dream A main.

Lelands.com will be paying a $125 Hard Charger Award in each of the semi mains and the firm will post $250 for the Hard Charger in the A.

Packers Concessions will again be paying $100 to the fast timer in both semis.

Hoseheads.com will also be posting $400 in Car Wash Cash to the first 40 drivers that enter competition at the event.  Each of the drivers will receive a $10 roll of quarters upon registering.

And on top of all of the above listed cash giveaways, contingency prizes to be given away on a first come, first serve basis to each driver on Dream Race night include Hoosier Tires, Zemco Headers gift certificates, DMI gift certificates, VRP Shocks gift certificates, Goshorn Racing Supply gift certificates, Wings Unlimited gift certificates, gallons of free fuel and products from Moose Blocks.

In addition, Penske Shocks will award a full set of shocks valued at $1,000 alone to the first driver across the line in the Non-Qualifiers main riding on a set of Penskes.

Rider Racing Engines and Don Ott Racing Engines will also be awarding complimentary engine dynos to select Rider and Ott driven mounts in the A main.
