PORT ROYAL, Pa. – The stage is set for this Saturday’s big Port Royal Speedway pre-race internet broadcast, car show and driver meet and greet at The Red Zone Sports Bar and Grille along Rt. 35 in Mifflintown, from noon to 3 pm.

And following the pre-race event, action swings across the ridge to the half-mile Port Royal oval for the inaugural Keith Kauffman Classic for Tony Stewart’s Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions Sprints as well as the kickoff of the lucrative and exciting Moon Shine Camo® Rt. 35 Dirt Late Model Challenge Series.

But before the clay flies at 7 pm, fans can flock to The Red Zone, located at 35 Envision Drive along Rt. 35, just off of Rt. 322 in Mifflintown, as the facility hosts the broadcast with numerous drivers and cars on display along with apparel trailers.

The broadcast itself will be aired on www.juniatacountyradio.com.

Aside from Keith Kauffman, drivers planning to take part in the broadcast and the afternoon at The Red Zone include All Stars kingpin Dale Blaney along with All Stars drivers Sheldon Haudenschild and Danny Holtgraver.

Local drivers Greg Hodnett, the current Port Royal point leader; and Dylan Cisney and Logan Wagner will be on hand along with late model pilots Trent Brenneman, point leader Andy Haus, Hayes Mattern and Garrett Gray.

The Moon Shine late model of Hayes Mattern is slated to be on display along with the mounts of Holtgraver, Hodnett, Haudenschild, Cisney, Haus, Brenneman, Wagner and Garrett Gray.

Team and All Stars apparel trailers are also expected to be on hand.

Port Royal Speedway will then present Tony Stewart’s Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions Sprint Cars in the inaugural Keith Kauffman Classic at 7 pm, presented by Locust Grove Retirement Community.

The Kauffman Classic, honoring the oval’s all time winningest driver in both victories and track titles, will go 30 laps in distance, paying $5,000 to win.

Equally as impressive on April 23 will be the kickoff of the Moon Shine Camo® Rt. 35 Port Royal and Selinsgrove Speedways Dirt Late Model Challenge Series.

The super late models will race in a 25 lap main event paying $2,000 to win and $200 to start.

Pit and general admission gates open at 4 pm for the big event with adult general admission set at $22 and students ages 12 – 18 priced at $10.
