Moon Shine Camo Rt. 35 Dirt Late Model Series Returns To Port Royal Speedway Saturday

PORT ROYAL, Pa. – The Port Royal Speedway racing program coming up this Saturday, July 2 at 7:30 pm will mark the return of the dual-track, Moon Shine Camo Rt. 35 Dirt Late Model Challenge Series to the oval after hosting the inaugural series’ maiden event back on April 23.

Beavertown’s Hayes Mattern claimed the inaugural series’ kickoff on April 23.

A field of 35 cars turned out for the event and another similar field is expected for this week’s show.

Each of the Moon Shine Camo Rt. 35 series feature races goes 25 laps in distance, paying $2,000 to win and $200 to start.

Each of the races also uses Delaware-style double file restarts throughout.

A Moon Shine Camo guaranteed point fund for the series of races worth $3,500 in cash plus contingency prizes for point finishers sixth through 10th has been posted for the super late model series.
