PORT ROYAL, Pa. – The third edition of the Port Royal Speedway/Selinsgrove Speedway Moon Shine Camo Rt. 35 Dirt Late Model Challenge Series has been announced as both tracks finalize and release their 2018 schedules.

Again in 2018, each track will host three dates of the six-race series but with some significant changes overall, most notably to the racers wallets!

The total purse for each event will increase by more some $2,500 over previous editions and the total six-race point fund payout is being increased and expanded as well.

Each race in the 2018 series will pay $2,200 to win, $475 for 10th and $225 just to start.

And series-end point moneys will be increased and expanded to pay out to the top 10 in series points this year with positions 11 – 15 receiving contingency prizes.

Port Royal Speedway will kick off the 2018 Moon Shine Camo Series on April 14 followed by events on July 7 and July 28.

Selinsgrove Speedway will host series races including the finale on May 19, July 21 and August 11.

New for the 2018 series will be one raindate for each track, with Selinsgrove owning August 25 and Port Royal laying claim to September 7.

A revamped series point system will be put in place for 2018 that rewards not only finishing position but for series event attendance as well.

In addition, at the end of the series, all drivers who entered competition at each 2018 Moon Shine Series event will be eligible to win a Moon Shine Camo prize pack valued at $1,000.

The winner will be chosen via a prize drawing to be held at the banquet of whichever track claims the 2018 series champion title rights.
