Following a successful debut weekend that saw the Port Royal Speedway play host to 4 series over 2 consecutive days, the speedway is already looking ahead to this weekend’s March 30th events!

Saturday will mark the return of the Weikert’s Livestock 410 Sprint Car Series. Port Royal local Dylan Cisney picked up the Opening Day win with a last lap pass of Anthony Macri and he will looking to repeat over a quality field of cars that included several invaders this past weekend.

Also on the card will be the River Valley Builders Late Models. Competing against many outsiders in part of a co-sanctioned Ultimate Late Model Series events, the late models competed twice this past weekend for a $3000 payday.

Saturday saw 36 Late Models, while Sunday brought 47 late models to the track. Race teams from 5 different states were represented and fans were treated to great racing with Jason Covert (Sat) and Dylan Norris (Sun) picking up victories.

As a thank you to the drivers for an outstanding turnout and performance, Port Royal promoter Steve O’Neal had decided to raise this weekend’s winners share to $3000 for the series. This will not come at the expense as the fans either as the speedway will not be raising admission to cover for the increase.

Last, but not least, the Selinsgrove Ford Limited Late Models will make their season debut at the Speed Palace. Last year’s champion for the season was Derek Garman and he, along with a full-field of competitors, will once again be looking to claim victory.

Racing begins at 4pm while all gates are open at 1pm.
