TUSKY GLORY: Rico Abreu Continues Hot Streak with $58,500 Win at Port Royal's Tuscarora 50

In his 30th start at the Port Royal Speedway, Rico Abreu finally visited victory lane at "The Speed Palace" on Saturday night - winning the 57th annual Tuscarora 50.

After starting third, Abreu quickly moved the #24 into second off the start and hounded seven-time Tuscarora 50 champion Lance Dewease for the opening 14 laps before he was able to swoop by in lap traffic on Lap 15. From there, it was about survival as Abreu methodically managed his tires and held on for a $58,500 payday with some extra money from the DURST Dice Roll.

It was Abreu's seventh trip to Whiskey Myers Victory Lane this year, extending his record as winningest driver in Kubota High Limit Racing history with 11 career wins. He is now second in the championship standings as he moved past the Clauson-Marshall Racing #7BC with ten races left.

TJ Stutts continued his career year with a second-place finish on Saturday night, banking $20,000 for his runner-up result at the Tuscarora 50. Fellow Pennsylvania Posse racer Anthony Macri followed him to the line with a $10,000 third-place finish.

Closing out the top-10 at Port Royal was Logan Wagner, Justin Whittall, Freddie Rammer, Parker Price-Miller, Justin Peck, Chase Dietz, and Aaron Reutzel.
